Tara M. Roberts

Tara's story is a testament to the power of determination and passion. As a Miami native, she set her sights high from an early age and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University in 2014, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications. Tara's love for literature and language laid the foundation for her journey into the world of law.

Fueling her ambition, Tara continued her education at Florida State University College of Law, where she achieved her Juris Doctorate in 2017. During law school, Tara's commitment to justice and advocacy led her to become a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney's Office in Tallahassee. In this role, she collaborated with prosecutors in the Juvenile division, gaining hands-on experience in motion practice and bench trials.

Eager to make a meaningful impact in her community, Tara returned to Miami upon graduation and was sworn in as an Assistant State Attorney at the esteemed Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. In this capacity, she took on challenging criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Tara's dedication to seeking justice and her exceptional performance in the courtroom resulted in successful completion of numerous jury trials.

With a thirst for new challenges, Tara made a bold career move and joined a prominent Worker's Compensation defense firm in Miami. For almost 3 years, she skillfully represented insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability as an attorney.

Today, Tara has found her true calling at Wolfson & Leon, where she practices both Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation law. Her background as a prosecutor and insurance defense attorney gives her a unique edge as an advocate for her clients. Tara's unwavering dedication to her clients' rights, coupled with her trial and litigation experience, ensures that she stands as a strong and knowledgeable ally in their pursuit of justice.
